- I am the General Manager, Apartment Home Living and Vice-President, Apartments.com. Prior to this role I was the CEO and President of Apartment Home Living, a social media apartment website. At AHL, I successfully transitioned the company from a high-cost local print catalog to a high-margin profitable national online brand focused on the Apartment Lifestyle, local content and social media and negotiated the sale to Classified Ventures. Prior to AHL, I was the CEO and President of Sandbox.com, an online Fantasy Sports provider. At Sandbox, I raised more than $25 million in venture capital; steered overall company direction; and negotiated sale to All Star Stats and NBC Universal. Prior to Sandbox, I was the Director of Business Development at Moovies, Inc. where I raised $3.0 million in venture financing and $36 million in an IPO; closed 18 acquisitions; and facilitated negotiations with Video Update to sell the company. Prior to Moovies, I was a Senior Accountant at KPMG. I hold a BBA, cum laude, in accounting from James Madison University and received my CPA from the Commonwealth of Virginia in 1992. I live in Austin with my wife Elizabeth and our three children.
